Pumpkins in the Park is back with a whole new look for 2026!
Join UCP of Maine on Sunday, October 18, 2026, at the Anah Shriners in Bangor for our new Spooky Neon Carnival, proudly presented by Darling’s Kia.
Explore two themed areas:
Pumpkin Lane: Classic fall fun with pumpkins, games, candy, warm lights, and photo opportunities.
Spooky Alley: Blacklights, neon décor, fog, glowing games, music, and spooky surprises.
Families can enjoy carnival-style games, prizes, candy, community booths, photo spots, and plenty of Halloween fun — all indoors, rain or shine.
Admission: $5 per person or $20 per family
Admission includes 2 carnival game tickets (and most activities are free!), with additional tickets available for purchase.
Sensory-Friendly Hour: 11 pm -12 pm
Main Event: 12 pm – 4 pm

On Sunday, October 19, 2025, from 11am to 4:00pm, Darlings Kia presents UCP of Maine’s 23rd Annual Pumpkins in the Park. This event is held at the Anah Shriner’s building located on 1404 Broadway in Bangor. Andrew Lohman, Pumpkins in the Park Chair, recently shared, “We are extremely excited for our 23rd annual Pumpkins in the Park fundraiser. This year, for the last hour of the event, from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., a sensory-friendly environment will be available for individuals who would like to attend. During this time, we will have low music playing and the lights on.” Pumpkins in the Park is an indoor community Halloween event for the entire family. This year’s theme is Once Upon A Time; attendees are encouraged to come in their Halloween costumes. At the event, attendees will enjoy warm and safe trick-or-treating at business-sponsored pumpkin patches, with hundreds of glowing jack o’lanterns carved by area youth and business groups. Along with trick-or-treating, the event will feature face painting, prizes, a bounce house (weather permitting), concessions, and much more! Any business interested in sponsoring can contact Andrew Lohman at 941-2952 ext. 233. Pumpkins in the Park is a cash-only event with admission of $5.00 per person or $15.00 per family. Children 3 years old and under are free! Presale will-call tickets are available to avoid ticket lines the day of the event by contacting 941-2952 or stopping by UCP of Maine’s main office at 700 Mt. Hope Ave Suite 320. Tickets will also be available at the door on the day of the event. All of the proceeds from this event will benefit UCP of Maine in supporting the needs of children and adults with physical, intellectual, and mental health needs in the community.
